Hungry Betty’s welcomes, Executive Chef, Abraham Mercado. Chef Abraham hails from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, but spent the majority of his career in Boston, Massachusetts honing his craft and working in fine dining restaurants. Most recently, as Sous Chef, at Bravo and The Garden Café both located at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, he created seasonally inspired, artfully prepared cuisine with an emphasis on sustainable, local ingredients.
Chef Abraham’s outstanding sauté and grill skills were showcased in the rich tradition of fine American steak houses while at DelFrisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Boston and also, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Boston. At City Landing on Boston’s Waterfront, he was part of the restaurants opening team and during his tenure focused on casual contemporary American cuisine offering guests the type of energetic and thoughtful dining experience that he most enjoys.
